Hi Binnur, just wondering if you can help me please? I sometimes have trouble finding red pepper paste in the town where I live in Australia. Previously, I've been able to get biber salcasi. Last time I went to buy some they had biber ezme instead. They also had aci biber ezme. Can you please tell me the difference? I think aci means hot does it not? How is salcasi different to ezme? Thank you! Cassie

Hi Cassie

Ezme has other ingredients in it as you can see in the ingredients list
on the jar such as green pepper, tomatoes, sugar, parsley, etc. And aci means hot in Turkish. Ezme is used as an appetizer and biber salcasi is added as an ingredient for cooking a meal.

If you like you can make your own biber salcasi at home. Here is the link

Take care,
