This sounds wonderful for the winter when you can't get fresh local eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, or any of the summer vegetables.

What do you serve it with?

cok tesekkuler!

Merhaba Karla,
First dish was the Rustic Red Lentil Soup (Mahluta Corbasi). Then I had a few slices of Bread with Black Olives (Zeytinli Ekmek) from the day before. Surprisingly went very well with the dish! Finished my lunch with Dried Fig Sutlac and Turkish Coffee:)

Merhaba Binnur Hanim :) I'm really glad to find this recipe. I cooked some stuffed dried aubergines and courgettes recently but soaked too many into hot water and I ran out of stuffing. I froze the leftover vegetables but still haven't been able to fill them since.
Now I will try this recipe as a new way to use dried vegetables, I just need to buy some dried peppers first.

Thank you!
