Chicken Salad with Mayo

(Mayonezli Tavuk Salatasi)

Chicken Salad with Mayo
2 pieces of chicken breast, cooked, cut in medium size pieces
1 small sized yellow potato, boiled, peeled, cut in small cubes
1/2 bunch dill, washed, drained, cut in small pieces
1/4 red onion, sliced
3 fresh green onions, cut in small pieces
1/2 cup small pickled cucumbers (cornichons), cut in small cubes
1/4 cup walnuts, crumbled
1 cup mayonnaise

Mix all the ingredients in a medium sized cup, then transfer onto the serving plate. You may garnish with black olives. Serve any kind of meal as a salad on the side. Or it's perfect for a sandwich using the corner of Turkish Bread.

Looks very nice, only i use 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup of turkish thick yoghurt....a bit more friendly for the calories ;-)
thx for your great recipes!

Dear Labelga,
Thank you choosing me for a Nice Matters award:) All of us site owners are connected to each other me through so many people who want the cook Turkish dishes all around the world. We have at least one thing is common which is that we love to share our knowledge about food with everyone. I love them all because they are passionate to introduce and teach our techniques....we are all lucky to have each other to bring the best on the Internet which makes the world smaller... :)

This was so yummy. I couldn't stop eating it. I used a really creamy homemade mayo. I loved how it was tart/sour but not overbearingly. The walnuts had such a nice crunch. Next time, I will definately toast the walnuts first though.
