Hi. I'm so glad i've found this site now as my partner is turkish and i'd really like to be able to cook some authentic meals for him. I'm trying to find a recipe for mendane borek (i'm not sure this is spelt right!) and also different types of kofte. If you can help that would be great.. Thanks

Hi,
Thank you:) Merdane means roller in English. It's been used to make a dough (yufka). We make Borek with yufka so I've already posted a few Borek recipes. Please check Turkish Pastry Recipes section to find which Borek you would like to make, here is the address;

I am going to post one or two different kinds of kofte recipes within a few weeks:)
Take care,

Merhaba Fatma,
Afiyet olsun.
Hayırlı Ramazanlar,

Hi,
It may be Acili Ezme but I am not sure:) I've already posted the recipe on the Salad recipes section. Here is the address:

On the site, below the google ads on the right, there's a search box. So you can search on my site if "TC" is selected, it will help you to find any recipe that I have posted. You can also search the word of any vegetable or meat etc.
