1 clove of garlic, minced with salt
1 cup cucumber, diced
1 1/2 cup plain Tukish yogurt
1 cup water
Extra virgin olive oil
Fresh dill, chopped
Place the garlic, yogurt and water in a medium sized bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon until it is blended very well. Add diced cucumber and mix again. With a ladle pour into small bowls and then add 1 tbsp of olive oil on top of each. Garnish with fresh dill.
Cacik goes very well as a side dish with white beans, rice or chickpeas.
